our haunted house horror... oh the irony.

okay. so this is what hapened in town. i was emailing one of my many bezzies, erin, and decided the email was very bland and very, very short. what was soon to be a small stick on the floor of her forest of an inbox. how sad, i thought. then i decided to tell her about what kind of freaky experiances me, chloe, imogen and lahna seem to run right into.

there were LOTS of freaks in town today. when i say LOTS i mean exactly that. we were sitting on benches outside a graveyard after the haunted house fiasco im about to tell you about and there were three guys, one topless, who were doing flips over the bottom-of-my-ribs height wall and fliping backwards off of trees in the grave yard and alsorts of break-your-back-if-it-goes-wrong stunts. we were talking about the haunted house and watching them when one of them cut us off mid-sentance. he hadnt slit his throught on a broken bottle or broken his spine or neck or anything midly interesting like that. he was going a handstand on a big hard stone wall and looked like he was stuck. his top had slid down/up (whatever you want to call it) and we then realised they were all very muscly. therefor very strong. we decided to leave him be. he was there for what seemed forever (only about a minut) before he got down. well, when i say got down i mean flipped off his hands onto his feet blindly backwards. he wasnt even slightly flushed. they must do that a lot, then, i thought.

anyway, besides strange stuntmen in the graveyard and lots of weird people staring at mine and lahnas socked feet there was the haunted house incedent. here i go.

i was in town with chloe and lahna and immi... opposite strand and up a little bit theres a house. its hidden behind piles of bushes and trees and an old brick wall noone had even noticed before lahna pointed it out. noone had ever noticed the house till lahna pointed it out. everyone was oblivious to the house. noone had EVER seen it before.
chloe even said, "omg that house is sooo cool! i never noticed it before!!! how the hell did i miss it???" or something like that.
we went round the corner and realised that the house was absoloutly massive. and it looked like a haunted house. we saw the tiny gate to it and also then realised that it was COMPLETELY over grown. the grass was about half was up our knees and there were huge bushes and that brick wall i mentioned... even a few dead trees among the living ones!!! there was litter in the bushes and on the grass and everywhere. we did like a full survey of the house before anyone said anything. i think i said the first words. maybe it was lahna.
some one said " i wonder who lives there." and then someone else said "go see then." me and lahna were walking up to the house and there were no lights on and all the curtains were like, half closed, sort of pulled to like a door. it looked like noone was in or whoever lived there was on holiday or something. well, it would have if there werent odd things lying on the widow sill or infront of the pulled to curtains. there was a new lamp which was the only colourfull thing in veiw with the plastic wrapper still on it and the plug all wound and tied up. that was one of the window sills on the second floor (it had three floors, and probably a basement too) there was otherstuff on the window sills but they didnt look out of place as such.
with no light coming out of the windows and the complete cover of darkness from the trees, lahna was on the verge of freaking out. we still opened the gate anyway, which had the certain creak that belonged to the sense of the house. we walked the path of dirt and long fallen leaves (in our socks with our shoes in our bags. we didnt want to wear our shoes. i took mine of because of the blister on the back of my foot from my new school shoes.) to the door of the house. it suited the house as well as the creaky, rusted gate did. it was a heavy, thick looking door with stained glass which looked like it could never be kicked down. it was then we realised the whole house was covered in cobwebs, as was the gate, and my sleeve which i used to open the gate. i pointed out the old looking doorbell and wondered silently if it worked.
i pressed it. it worked. we heard it loud and clear, from behind the heavy looking door.we waited for about a minit in front of this scary door untill lahna wondered out loud if we should give up. we did. we closed the gate behind us and ran across the road to chloe and immi, who were standing there like angry lost sheep with the strangest expression of outrage and horror on their faces.
"there wasnt anyone in." lahna said. "i realy wanted to see who lived there." we all looked back at the house to the window on the second floor where the new lamp sat on the window sill next to a clothes rack with clothes still in laundry bags, an orange tinted light turned on behind.
"but the light's on" chloe said, almost like a delayed reaction."it wasnt on before."
i couldnt decide if the clothes rail wasnt there before, or if i had simply overlooked it.
"so there is someone in."
"maybe they didnt hear the bell."
"maybe its a crack house."
" maybe theyre just old."
"maybe they were in another room."
"i think theyre mens clothing on the rail."
"should we go ring again?"
everyone stopped reaching out with their minds and imagination, grasping for some explanation, trying to fit together peices from seperate puzzles.
all we knew was; it looked haunted; it was over grown; there were heavy dusty curtains hanging behind thick windows; the door looked very secure; the gate creaked; it looked deserted untill the light came on up in the second story window; we were nearly freaking out; there was an out-of-place lamp in the previously mentioned window; the look of the house would probably turn away junk mail and kids looking for dogs to walk; noone answered the door; noone had even noticed the house, gate or wall.
"im going to try again." i do that sometimes. let my curiosity dominate the only part of my mind that makes sense.
i crossed back over the road, aware of lahna following, opened the gate, and we walked the path again.coing up to the door, we hesitated. nothing was said for a moment whilst we brooded over the facts that whoever lived inside the dark house clearly didnt want to be disturbed and that we didnt know what kind of human would answer the door. for all we knew it could be complete phsyco lurking in the shadows. or phsyco's. maybe it was a crack house after all. i silently planned to ask for becky when they opened the door after we rang the doorbell once more. i asked lahna what it was worth then decided i was going to die if i didnt find out who lived in this bizzare house. just as my finger hovered over the doorbell, there was a thuded bumb coming from just behing the door. we turned and ran. we ran through the gate, closing it subconciously, and ran. we ran across the road and realised chloe and immi had started up the road before we had rung the bell. we ran after them. just as we reached them i heard something. it sounded like someone calling after us and it sounded like it didnt belong in the otherwise cheery, bustle of town. i spun ound the exact same time as lahna.
"you heard that too? the voice? it sounded like someone calling "hello?" like they were scared." we looked at each other. "they could have closed the door." she said as we ran back.
the statement didnt make sense at the time but i didnt even realise.the door was still closed and the light on the second floor was off. it took us a moment to register this, and, by time we had, chloe and imogen came running after us. chloe looked very annoyed. neither of them had heard a thing. i wondered silently, idly, if we were imagining it or someone from another house was saying it. the four of us walked off, me and lahna in a state of bewilderment and confusion. how odd, i thought.

my hair dying dissaster (no alliteration intended)

whoops. forgot to write in yesterday cuz i was soo busy.

i didnt get up till 11 again. then we went straight to cannon park in coventry after i had my iced coffee, got dressed, brushed my teeth ect. we did lots of shopping and spent 30 quid in the japanese/chinese shop called hello sushi (my favourite (food) shop). we had to come back for half 3 because there was an architect coming to give us a free quote.

whilst they were all standing outside i was inside practicing my cello.

then it was time for dinner.

then i built a sand volcanoe in the sand pit outside.

then i came in and i was going to get in the shower but then i remembered the black hair dye i got from cannon park and put that on till 10. i did 2 streaks at the front and one at the back but then i got bored and just poured half the bottle on and messed up my hair, only spreading to some places. i called it individualising my hair when mum came in and asked.

then she half-shreiked and said "youve got it all over your face! you stupid girl. you look like youve put your face on someones barbeque." by this time i was in a state of sleep deprived. (lack of sleep causes most to go mentally insane till they do go to sleep.)

to that i giggled and said "im charred chicken!" and burst into a fit of giggles. mum couldnt help but laugh too.

then she tried getting it of with tissue. that didnt work. she tried baby wipes. that didnt work. she tried a wet flannel. that didnt work. she left to get the makeup remover. makeup remover mostly worked- ish.

i rinsed it off in the shower, like it said. i put on the conditioning for 2 minuts, like it said. i rinsed that off, like it said. i wrapped it up in a towel and went to bed.

i woke up this morning. my hair is still brown. theres not as much red in it and it smells nice and its gone wavy. but its still brown. :( oh well. getting it cut sunday anyway.

about my current virus infestation

okay. so its my 4th day and ive told loads of people and put links everywhere and, still, noone has visited my blog. i feel stupid now- talking to noone. anyways... todays post. i was up late last night- people might be- would be- noticing patern. i am ussually up quite late- fixing the viruses on my laptop. when i did a boot scan lastnight there were 59 infected files. my dad did another scan this morning and there were loads of infected files. loads more than lastnight. he found out that they were all coming from emails from my friends so if you email me check theres no viruses. i asked my mum what to do at night and she started shouting and screaming. its like the screaming caterpillar of the simpsons. shell find something to scream at. anywayss. i woke up this morning to my sister screaming at me. i have a permanent headache thesedays. we were supposed to leave for a bike ride round that resivior i ws talking about earlier? at about nine. i was still asleep at 11. so i got up and gt coffee and all that and we werent out the house till two. (i had lost my hairbrush) hehe. we had chips for lunch and i was still red as a beetroot after. its now 20 to 5. a woman has showed up at our house. she lived here from when she was 3 months old till she was 21. it has changed alot since she lived here. she was acting like she liked the changes but i got the feeling she was sad it has changed so much. shame. oh well. ill never meet her again. thats all for now folks! hehe love looney tunes.

summer's cool 09 and the rest of my musical-ness

okay, ive already written in today and it feels weird writting in twice in one day. yes, very weird.

its the summer holidays (and has been for the past forever) and in the first- maybe second im not sure- week i went to summer's cool, a music school type thing, for a week. it was the best, as always, and i think thats the clumsiest week ive ever lived through. i tripped over nearly everything and was very supriesed at the end of the week to find that i hadnt fell down any of the millions of flights of stairs.

we played our instruments loads it was soo good. when i tell people this they all go ughn that must be soo boring. poor you. or something along those lines. but it wasnt boring atall. we didnt just play our instruments.

we had a swimming gala on the thursday and we went bowling on wednesday and there was alot of free time between lunch and whatever we had after and between dinner and "fun sing" and we did rounders and stuff. it was very tiring, especialy with all the running from place to place imbetween sesions.

when i got back my legs were skinny i was very suprised. and then mum went all annoying like she does when shes talking about all these soppy life morals that have changed her life. you should hear her. its the worst. yuk. *many shudders* eww.

anyways i cant wait till when we go back next year cuz one of my bestest friends, imogen, shes going to and its going to be fun. i say it is going to be fun because it ussualy is and if it isnt im going to make it fun. its going to be very fun. i know it is. yes. very fun.

now, you know i pay an instrument but you dont know which. you are going to find out. im going to tell you. i play the cello. its better than a violin cuz its bigger and less... squeaky. ive been playing the cello for five years and at first i wanted to play violin but there werent any places left for lessons at my junior school so i started cello instead. there were two other cellists when i started in who were older than me.

then a year later a good friend, sara, started and i think neomi (or however you spell it) started then too.

who was soon to be my best friend, imogen, started two years after me and is already a grade ahead of me and loads better than me. she started the key board the first year in junior school so, naturally, she was already musical. so, i play cello.

i also play piano. ive had 6 piano lessons and i am already half way through my piano book- pianoworks book 1 the piano book for older begginer. i just got to the page with the middle of the staples in the middle. bernie, my piano teacher, is very nice. shes not stern or strict. i have private lessons at her house, just like imogen does- well, did- with her keyboard. shes started piano now. ill give her half a year to be better than me. oh well. thats why we are best friends.
